Trip to the Park

There is a little park just a few blocks from where we live. This past Sunday, Nana, Bapa, Carl, Lilija and I went to go check it out. When we got there one of the first things Lilija wanted to play on was a HUGE slide. Well, it was huge to me and probably the size of Mt. Kilimanjaro for her!! Apparently she's been down the slide before with help from Daddy. She climbs and he goes up behind her to make sure she's ok. The first few times down the slide she was using her shoes to slow herself down. Each time proceeded to get faster until the last time when she really zoomed down! In Lilija's words, "Whoa! Big slide! Again!!"

Pop goes the monkey?

Nana and Bapa got Lilija a Jack in the Box from their Virginia trip. Ok...well if you want to get specific it's actually a Monkey in the Box. She was a little scared at first but then gave orders to Nana, "You turn. I dance." Alright!

On my tower

Lilija had run off to her room and it got a little quiet...which is something to always be cautious of. When Carl went back to check on her she was sitting on the laundry basket "reading" a book. When he asked her what she was doing she said, "Sitting on my tower." Clearly.
