The "official" pictures...fancy!

I found our photographer through Craigslist (I LOVE that site) and she did AMAZING work. We are getting all of the pictures next week, but she sent us a couple pictures to preview. I can't wait to see the rest!

GG Kruppstadt and Calah

Last week we went to a quaint malt shop in Minnetonka, called Snuffy's, to meet Grandma Corbett and GG Kruppstadt. This was his first time holding his newest Great-granddaughter. *Awe*

Bath time!

Calah is starting to enjoy bath time a little bit more. And by this I mean that she no longer screams the entire time and cries so hard that you think that something is wrong. (The first bath I gave her was quite traumatizing...probably for both baby and Mama, but it's gotten better with each round.) We discovered that she likes warms towels after her bath, and really who wouldn't love to be wrapped in a warm towel after a bath?! Grandma Marge used to to that for the grandkids when we were young so I thought it would help and guess what - it did!

One Month Old

Oh my goodness! She is already one month old! We are finally starting to settle into a routine with handing two kids. It's sure been a learning experience!

Here are Calah's highlights from the last month:

• Starting to coo.
• Starting to smile.
• Holding her head up for long periods of time.
• Slept for 5 hours straight...at night...when she is supposed to be sleeping but would rather party. This was a HUGE accomplishment!

We have been blessed to have a few couples from church bring meals over during the last few weeks. One of the couples, Joy and Dennis Davis, also brought an amazing cake (Dennis found his inspiration via the Cake Boss) for us to enjoy.

Pretty Flower

It's been a waiting game to see what kind of flowers and plants would bloom in the yard. Is it a tulip? Nope. I think it's a flower. Nope, just Creeping Charlie. We did find out that we had Iris and Peonies. Fun!

Splish Splash

Lilija got this super cute splash pad for her 1st birthday. We didn't have the space to use it at the town-home but now that we have a beautiful back yard (OK...we're WORKING on turning it into a beautiful back yard) we finally had the chance to set it up and let her play. She didn't want to go in at first and but then it was run and jump, run and jump, run and jump...
