Early November, Roger (Meg's hubby) called me and told me that he wanted to send Meg and I on a trip to Napa, CA for her birthday. Um, OK! This was one of those once in a lifetime trips...or at least the first one since we've been best friends. What an incredible time! Thanks to Rog for setting this up and to Carl for allowing me to have an amazing girls trip while he held down the fort.
On our way!

First wine tasting!

The fun continues...

Um, I discovered that I like truffles...as in the mushroom kind. It was so interesting to see how food changed the flavor of the wine and how some created the perfect pairing.

The site of the most amazing meal I've ever had in my life. It was pure magic.

Time to head back home...to my wonderful family. Thanks for the memories, Napa!
